2009-2010: Kurkimilis to EMU

Kristina Kurkimilis has committed to Eastern Michigan, according to a site submission. The L10 from Berk's Gymnastics was unable to compete at Regionals last season. She also placed 3rd on FX at the 2007 State meet and was 5th on FX at the 2008 State meet. Link: YouTube.com Videos
2009-2010: Stambaugh to Oregon State

Makayla Stambaugh has committed to Oregon State, according to her webmaster. Stambaugh, who just completed her visits, is a L10 and former jr. international elite National Team member who trains at Byers Gymnastics. She's the 2008 L10 National Champion in the Senior C division in the AA, BB and FX. She also placed 4th(t) on UB and 9th(t) at the 2008 Nationals. Diana Karavida has committed to Utah State, according to a site submission. Karavida trains as a L10 at IGI. At the 2008 Region V L10 Regionals, she was 13th AA and 3rd on the BB in the Senior B division. As a Level 9 in 2007, she placed 5th AA and 7th(t) on FX at the L9 Eastern Nationals. Nicole Romano has committed to a scholarship offer from Rutgers, according to a site submission. Romano is a four year L10 who trains at NorthStars. At the 2008 Region VII L10 Regionals, she placed 8th AA and 5th on FX in the Senior B division.

2009-2010: Biros to Pitt

Meaghan Biros has committed to Pittsburgh, according to a site submission. Biros is a L10 from IGI who has made nationals three times. At the 2008 L10 Nationals, she placed 40th AA and tied for 9th on VT in the Senior A divison. In 2006, competing in the Jr. B division at the L10 Nationals, she tied for 6th AA and placed 4th on the BB.
2009-2010: Merriam to Penn State

Madison Merriam has committed to Penn State, according to her family. Merriam is a four-time L10 Nationals qualifier, trains at Hill's. At the 2008 L10 Nationals, Sr. A, she placed 7th AA and tied for 6th on FX and 9th on VT. Also, competing in the Jr. D division at the 2007 L10 Nationals, she tied for 29th AA. Kristin Edwards has committed to Texas Women's, according to a site submission. Edwards is a four year L10 who trains at Midwest in Minnesota. In 2008, she placed 8th AA at the Minnesota L10 State Championships, in the Senior division.
2009-2010: Kennedy to SUU

Caitlin Kennedy has verballed to a scholarship offer from Southern Utah, according to her club. Kenney is a L10 who trains at Texas Tumblers, and was Texas State Champion in 2007 and 2008. At the 2008 L10 Nationals, she tied for 9th on VT and 21st AA in the Senior B division. In 2007, she did even better, finishing in a tie for 14th AA in the Jr. D division. Link: Her Web Site

Amanda Watamaniuk has committed to a scholarship offer at Utah State, according to an athlete submission. A L10 who trains at Gym-Nation in Ohio, she placed 20th AA at the 2008 Region V L10 Regionals, Senior B.
Arno-Templet Named Finalist
